31a The CrescentProjects
The existing front facade is remodelled to improve the form and composition, providing a contemporary, rejuvenated outlook on a period property. A unique building set within a listed 1930’s and Victorian vernacular streetscape within in an area listed as ‘an area of special character.’
The standalone nature of the property allows the facade to be remodelled and designed with large glazed opening, vertically and horizontally to provide additional day and sunlight into the internal spaces. An entrance porch which is designed compositionally relating to the rhythm of the whole facade as opposed to a regular porch which is usually distinguished.
